Rachel Pratt
RN, BSN, Holistic
Health Coach
Let me introduce myself. I'm a registered nurse who has worked in the hospital for eight years; the last six have been in the ICU at the bedside of very sick patients. After seeing the struggles of many of my patients, I wanted to find a way to help people live with a higher quality of life, one without the limitations and complications of chronic disease and poor lifestyle. I witnessed so much pain and suffering while standing next to my patients and their families, that I became passionate about preventing chronic disease knowing that the solution is in managing our lifestyle not our symptoms. I wanted to help people transform their health and wellbeing at the root, even reversing their chronic diseases. And I wanted to do it in a more holistic way, seeing everyone as a whole person consisting of interconnected parts; physical, emotional, mental, social, spiritual health and more.
I’ve found my passion in lifestyle design and nurse coaching to help clients find their way to a healthier, happier life. One with potential, purpose, and vibrancy. I'll help you work through each area or your life, gain self awareness, acceptance, and empowerment to take control of your health and your life. I truly believe you have the ability to make positive changes in your life and I want to support you as you go through that journey. Join me in exploring and creating the life that you choose to live!
I am offering a free 45-minute discovery call to those interested in exploring coaching for themselves. I want to connect, get to know you, and explore your goals. I do this before signing clients to make sure I can truly serve you and your needs. I do zoom or phone sessions. Click the link below to book a free call or shoot me an email or text. “Prior to working with Rachel, it felt like life was just happening to me. I was feeling burnt out from work, and definitely neglecting my personal wellbeing. I was chronically anxious and tired… Working with Rachel was an excellent experience. She has a gift for listening attentively. She also asked questions that led me to new insights about myself and my goals. Rachel struck the right balance between pushing me to challenge myself and also encouraging me to give myself grace, when needed….”

“When I started my sessions with Rachel I was still recovering from COVID. I was out of work for 2 months with a high heart rate & extreme exhaustion. I’ve been back to work for a couple of months ... and I have been battling exhaustion & depression. I was miserable. I was unhappy at work & couldn’t get out of the bed at home. I didn’t have any balance in my life. All I could manage was working and sleeping… In just a short amount of time working with Rachel I have been able to clean my house, cook & meal prep for work. I’m able to do hobbies & crafting. I’m eating healthier and spending time with friends again.… Rachel made our sessions very easy and calming. There wasn’t any anxiety, awkwardness, or thoughts of canceling appointments with her, something I often do. I always had a new tool to use in my life after talking to her & I felt excited about something. Rachel really helped me get back on track and have a more balanced life.”

“Working with Rachel has been a tremendous help. When I started I had a few health challenges going on. Having these discussions as to what was going on put things into perspective for me and challenged myself to make changes. I have a lot of work ahead of me but I realized that all of it is possible if I do the work. Having the opportunity to have a health coach has been rewarding as it has brought me a sense of accountability. I would recommend this to anyone struggling with health issues and needing support.”

“My favorite part of working with Rachel was having someone listen to me without judgement. Verbalizing my thoughts and feelings reduced my stress so that I could gain more clarity on what would benefit my health.”

“Rachel Pratt was an invaluable source of advice, knowledge, motivation and guidance throughout my coaching experience. She reassured me of my worth in moments of insecurities… She utilized her industry knowledge and network to find resources to help me with stress management… Rachel always went above and beyond to find creative options that work specifically for my needs… Truthfully, I was apprehensive when starting this coaching process. I didn’t quite know what to expect and what expectations would be of me, but when the opportunity presented itself to me, I decided to take the leap of faith. I was stuck in a routine without knowing what to do. Rachel was a breath of fresh air. She actively listened to my story— she wasn’t interjecting herself or trying to fix my problems. She helped me navigate this process on my own terms. Rachel is kind, patient and reliable. Rachel has been very accommodating and relentlessly supportive from the beginning of this journey; she truly advocates for her clients and will make a lasting impression on anyone who works with her.”

“I was in a place in my life that felt out of my control and influenced my hopelessness. I wanted to help myself, but it seemed too daunting which left me stuck in a negative loop. When I learned about nurse coaching, I wasn't sure what to expect but I knew that I was ready for a change and that I couldn’t do it alone. Talking with Rachel helped me organize my thoughts and I realized that I was harder on myself than I should be. She helped me help myself. I learned to be kind to myself, tools to help me when I felt overwhelmed, and overall, I gained insight as to why I felt so bad. I feel in control and optimistic about my future... Nurse coaching helped me transform my thoughts to align with who I want to be. I highly recommend nurse coaching to anyone that's ready to become the person they want to be. It's not a journey you have to do alone!”
